Hopey A. Gardner joined Rynearson, Suess, Schnurbusch & Champion, LLC as an associate in May 2009. She received her Juris Doctorate from Washington University School of Law in 2007. Ms. Gardner completed an M.A. in English Writing at Hollins University in 1999, and received her B.A. in English from Central Missouri State University in 1998.
Ms. Gardner concentrates her practice in insurance litigation, including insurance coverage, premises liability, personal injury, and products liability defense. She also has experience in workers’ compensation and medical malpractice defense.
Ms. Gardner is admitted to practice law in Missouri, Illinois, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
While in law school, Ms. Gardner worked with the in house counsel of a national insurance company. She also spent a semester as a law clerk for the Hon. David D. Noce, Magistrate Judge in the Eastern District of Missouri. She was an Associate Editor for the Washington University Journal of Law and Policy.
Ms. Gardner has a background in post-secondary education, is a published short story writer, and plays the violoncello.
